HARBOURS & MOORING
Our harbour is located on 16 Mile Creek, steps away from Downtown Oakville, it boasts a collection of well-maintained slips to accomodate vessels up to 38 feet long. Nestled in this tranquil setting, our berths provide the perfect home for your sail boat, with convenient access to amenties and services that cater to your needs!
Wet Moorings
OYS wet moorings for keel-boats are Mediterranean-style and are equipped with electrical power and water hookups. Wet moorings are awarded on a seniority point system and pending availability. Elgible membership categories for wet moorings are Full and Intermediate. Storage fees are based on a square footage calculation (length x width x beam). 2024 mooring fee is $7.11/square foot.
Small Craft Storage
Summer small craft storage is available for those who wish to store small sailing dinghies, paddleboards, canoes, kayaks and other sail or human powered small craft. Eligible membership categories include Full, Intermediate, Junior and Small Craft memberships. 2024 storage fees of $55 for small craft, and $105 for a dinghy on a dolly.
Dry Sail
Dry berths for keelboats are available to Full, Intermediate members based on seniority and availability. Conveinently located near the launch crane for easy launch. Storage fees are based on a square footage calcuation (length x width x beam). 2024 dry sail fee is $6.24/square foot.
Crane
A 1000 lb mast crane is available to members for stepping/unstepping masts and a 4000 lb launch crane is available for dry sail boats. A crane certification course is offered annually at no charge to all OYS members and is a requirement for its use.
Winter Storage
Winter storage is offered at OYS as well as mast storage on site. Your winter storage fee includes a self help haul-out, bottom wash and launch!
